D.J. Bickers, DDS

Dr. Bickers has been practicing family and cosmetic dentistry in Charlottesville since 1997. A native of Charlottesville, he graduated from the University of Virginia in 1993. Dr. Bickers graduated cum laude from the Medical College of Virginia School of Richmond in 1997.

Dr. Bickers is happily married, with 2 sons. He enjoys spending time with his family, playing golf, going to Virginia athletic events, skiing, hiking, swimming, reading, and singing.

Through continuing education and state-of-the-art equipment, Dr. Bickers and his wonderful team will provide every patient with courteous service and high quality dental care in a comfortable, relaxing atmosphere.

Dr. Bickers is an active member of the American Dental Association, Academy of General Dentistry, Virginia Dental Association, and Charlottesville-Albemarle Dental Society.

Dr. Nathan Gompers

Dentist

Dr. Gompers hails from Mechanicsville, VA and is a recent graduate of the VCU School of Dentistry. As a VCU Honors College member, Dr. Gompers earned an undergraduate degree in Biology with a minor in Chemistry. Dr. Gompers was a two-time winner of the prestigious Frank David Low DDS Memorial Scholarship while at the VCU School of Dentistry for his academic and clinical skills. He was also a member of the VCU Senior Selective of Endodontics in his final year at the VCU School of Dentistry.

Some of Dr. Gompers pastimes include: boating, snow skiing, fishing, wakeboarding, attending concerts, working on old cars, and hunting for sharks teeth and fossils.

Dr. Gompers has a passion for dentistry and prides himself on delivering the highest quality care for his patients. He understands the importance of listening to his patients, problem-solving, and developing optimal treatment plan solutions. Dr. Gompers has demonstrated an excellent ability to connect with his patients as he was often sought after in his daily casework at VCU and throughout the State of VA during his clinical rotations
